Now that Bobby and Birdie are living under new identities (we could tell you who they now are - for a price) Doreen is all alone in London. She's doing her best to find a new identity of her own, as the British government is too cheap to give her one, even though she selflessly gave them the best years of her life.

Although Doreen has paid endless writers to submit heartfelt pleas, she has not been chosen for Extreme Makeover UK, certainly can't pay for one on the pathetic handshake which was more brass than golden, so is forced to age ungracefully - and alone.

And while the NHS perscribed endless anti-depressants, the only relief Doreen found for her grief and loneliness (you should have been following the story to know what caused these tragic conditions) was to lock herself in a workman's cottage (sadly sans workman) by the A3, where the only intercourse she had was with her computer!

Having chips in her heart - and probably a lot of other places she didn't know about - Doreen had embraced Web 2 technology long before it was even called that. So, like lighting a candle in the window each night, waiting for her lost lover to return, Doreen built a blog...
